Odochi eze Ugude, President & CEO

Odochi Eze Ugude is the President and CEO of SOWIN, Inc, the nonprofit organization with a mission to move Nigerian widows from poverty to economic self-sufficiency and eradicate the abusive, dehumanizing cultural practices associated with widowhood.
Prior to SOWIN, Odochi served on the board of Ngwa United Alliance (NUA) for over 10 years, and served on the City of Bowie Education Committee, where she advised the City Council on issues impacting the Bowie School system. She also has more than 20 years of corporate accounting experience.
Odochi is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland. She attended Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration. She is married with two children and lives in Texas.

Rhonda Boyd, Chief Financial Officer

Rhonda Boyd is the Chief Financial Officer of SOWIN, Inc.
Currently, Rhonda serves as the Secretary of the FBCG-Dorcas Ministry, which fulfills the needs of those who are homeless, bed-stricken, or suffering from a long-term illness. In addition, she is a member of the The NETwork and serves as the 50th Anniversary National Treasurer.
Rhonda has more than 25 years of corporate financial experience.
She attended The University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Master’s in Public Policy from The University of Maryland. She has one adult child and lives in Bowie, MD.

Rachel Ragsdale, Marketing Director

“From the very moment I heard about SOWIN’s mission, I knew I had to be a part of making a positive impact and change for women in Nigeria with Saving Our Widows.” She attended the University of Oklahoma, studying Bachelor of Science- Business Management. Mrs. Ragsdale has been awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award twice and has nearly a decade of project-program management experience. Rachel Ragsdale is married and resides in Texas. She hopes her involvement with SOWIN will also set as an example to her daughter of the importance of giving back to others.

Kate Njoku, Regional Zone Director, South West

Kate Njoku is the Reginal Zone Director, South West, for SOWIN. The South West geopolitical zone consists of the following states: Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo and Osun. 
Kate has an extensive background in theology and is an assistant pastor. She is passionate about community service and is proud to be part of the SOWIN team.

Sandra Adigwe, Regional Zone Director, South East

Sandra Adigwe serves as the Reginal Zone Director, South East, for SOWIN. The South East geopolitical zone consists of the following states: Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo.
Mrs. Adigwe has over 10 years of experience in development programs in rural areas. She has a BSc. Degree in Business Administration from Imo State University. She is married with three beautiful children.

Kingsley Martin, Engaging Men as Allies

SOWIN understands that enlisting men as allies is key to creating an enabling environment for widow’s empowerment and changing the way the community understands her rights.
An IT specialist by day, Kingsley is SOWIN’s National Director, Engaging Men as Allies. His extensive knowledge of the Nigerian culture and customs is critical to the success of SOWINs efforts to gaining men as allies and advocates.
Kingsley is married with two children.
